Salut,
Alter bridge – In
Loving Memory
Thanks for all
you've done
I've missed you
for so long
I can't believe
you're gone
You still live
in me
I feel you in
the wind
You guide me
constantly
I've never knew
what it was to be alone, no
Cause you were
always there for me
You were always
there waiting
And ill come
home and I miss your face so
Smiling down on
me
I close my eyes
to see
And I know,
you're a part of me
And it's your
song that sets me free
I sing it while
I feel I can't hold on
I sing tonight cause it comforts me
Billy talent – White
sparrows
They gave her
one more day
To say the words
I couldn't say
I'm crying in
pain, crying in pain
And I'm not
looking for answers
No, I'm not
looking for answers
But dear God, why did you choose her?
Linkin Park – Shadow of the day
I close both
locks below the window
I close both
blinds and turn away
Sometimes
solutions aren't so simple
Sometimes good
bye's the only way
[Chorus]
And the sun will
set for you
The sun will set
for you
And the shadow
of the day
Will embrace the
world in grey
And the sun will
set for you
Linkin Park – Leave out all the rest
After my
dreaming
I woke with this
fear
What am I
leaving
When I'm done
here?
So if you're
asking me
I want you to
know
[Chorus]
When my time
comes
Forget the wrong
that I've done
Help me leave
behind some
Reasons to be
missed
And don't resent
me
And when you're
feeling empty
Keep me in your
memory
Leave out all
the rest
Leave out all
the rest
Avril Lavigne – Slipped away
I had my wake up
Won't you wake
up
I keep asking
why
And I can't take
it
It wasn't fake
It happened, you
passed by
Now you are
gone, now you are gone
There you go,
there you go
Somewhere I
can't bring you back
Now you are
gone, now you are gone
There you go,
there you go,
Somewhere you're
not coming back
The day you
slipped away
Was the day I
found it won't be the same no..
The day you
slipped away
Was the day that
I found it won't be the same oh...
Eric Clapton – Tears in Heaven
Would you know my
name
If I saw you in
heaven?
Would you feel
the same
If I saw you in
heaven?
I must be strong
and carry on
Cause I know I
don't belong here in heaven
Mumford and Sons – After the Storm
And there will
come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will
not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your
hill and see what you find there,
With grace in
your heart and flowers in your hair.
And I won't die
alone and be left there.
Well I guess
I'll just go home,
Oh God knows
where.
Because death is
just so full and man so small.
Well I'm scared
of what's behind and what's before.
Jimmy Eat World – Hear you me
And if you were
with me tonight,
I'd sing to you
just one more time.
A song for a
heart so big,
god wouldn't let
it live.
May angels lead
you in.
Hear you me my
friends.
On sleepless roads
the sleepless go.
May angels lead
you in.
Terry Jacks – Seasons in the sun
We had joy, we had
fun, we had seasons in the sun.
But the hills that
we climbed
were just seasons
out of time.
Bob Dylan – Knocking on heaven’s door
Mama,
take this badge off of me
I
can't use it anymore.
It's
gettin' dark, too dark to see
I
feel like I'm knockin' on heaven's door.
Knock,
knock, knockin' on heaven's door
Les Cowboys Fringants – La tête haute
C´est ma fête,
j’ai dix-neuf ans
Pu d´ cheveux
mais toutes mes dents
Je soufflerai
les bougies
Les dernières de
ma vie
Le doc me l’a
confirmé
Le mal a trop
progressé
Une affaire de
quelques s´maines
Peut-être deux
mois à peine
Mes yeux qui
flottent dans l´eau
Dans un dernier
soubresaut
De colère et
d´impuissance
Il faut accepter
l´évidence
Ce n´est plus le
temps pour les larmes
Je dois rendre
les armes
J´ai tout
surmonté
La tête baissée
Maint’nant je
descends la côte
Et j´ai la tête
haute
October fall – If we’re all alone, aren’t we in this together
Rip me apart to
see my insides
Compose myself
I'm not secure
And don't
believe a single thing
That you have
heard
Throw my pride
into this fire
My confidence is
dead, I'm tired
Who's giving up?
(I'm giving up)
I won't burn
out, I'll just burn up
And I was raised
on excellence
Always taught to
look my best
I don't wanna be
just anybody
I don't wanna be
anything you forget
Villains die and
heroes live forever
Tragic endings
get remembered
I don't wanna be
just anybody
I don't wanna be
anything you forget....
They won't forget
you in the end.
My Chemical Romance – Welcome to the Black Parade
When I was a
young boy,
My father took
me into the city
To see a
marching band.
He said,
"Son when you grow up,
would you be the
saviour of the broken,
the beaten and
the damned?"
Sometimes I get
the feeling she's watching over me.
And other times
I feel like I should go.
And through it
all, the rise and fall, the bodies in the streets.
And when you're
gone we want you all to know.
We'll carry on,
We'll carry on
And though
you're dead and gone believe me
Your memory will
carry on
We'll carry on
And in my heart
I can't contain it
The anthem won't
explain it.
Mumford and Sons – Ghost that we knew
But the ghosts
that we knew will flicker from view
We'll live a
long life
So give me hope
in the darkness that I will see the light
'Cause oh that
gave me such a fright
But I will hold
as long as you like
Just promise me
we'll be alright
But hold me
still, bury my heart on the coals
But hold me
still, bury my heart next to yours
Our Lady Peace –
Dreamland
But I, I feel
the love, I feel the power
It comes to me
in the darkest hour
And I, I wanna
feel it again.
In this
dreamland the kids are alright,
And the sky is
blue.
We all got
wings,
And know how to
fly.
I made it to the
moon.
The sun on my
face,
My head in the
clouds.
Time on my side,
My feet off the
ground,
I'm not comin'
down.
